An Amazon’s temperament must be respected. It has an excellent vocabulary. It also enjoys wooden toys. He/she also has “appropriated” a bell toy from another cage, that it loved to play with.

We ship same-day through Delta Airlines for $200, weather permitting. As a convenience, we also offer DNA testing for $40 to determine the bird’s gender.

How does it work? To keep your new family member healthy and safe during its travel, we include food, water, and an extra bag of food attached in case of delay. All pets are kept in a temperature-controlled section. Delta Airlines has safety protocols to make sure your pet arrives in the same condition it left us.

The Blue-Headed Macaw is native to eastern Peru, north-western Bolivia, and far western Brazil. All macaws need plenty of energy, though a balanced diet, for good health. Macaws should be fed a formulated (pelleted or extruded) diet as a basis for good nutrition. The diet should be supplemented with fresh fruits and vegetables daily to add variety and psychological enrichment. Give almonds and pine nuts as treats. Macaws are playful and love to chew. Macaws, especially, should always be provided with toys and wood to chew.

We put our hearts into raising these magnificent creatures! The sulphur-crested cockatoo is one of the largest species of beautiful white cockatoos. Not only spectacular in appearance...this large parrot is also very large and very intelligent. The sulphur-crested cockatoo subspecies vary in size, with the largest subspecies (C. g. galerita) reaching an adult size of about 20 inches from beak to the tip of the tail, and weighing nearly 2 pounds (31 ounces).
