Blue Headed Macaws are gorgeous birds. These Babies are very tame. They are disease tested for PBFD, Chlymidia, Polyoma and Avian BornaVirus.
For more information about the babies, call us. The Blue-Headed Macaw is native to eastern Peru, north-western Bolivia, and far western Brazil. All macaws need plenty of energy, though a balanced diet, for good health.
Macaws should be fed a formulated (pelleted or extruded) diet as a basis for good nutrition. The diet should be supplemented with fresh fruits and vegetables daily to add variety and psychological enrichment. Give almonds and pine nuts as treats.
Macaws are playful and love to chew. Macaws, especially, should always be provided with toys and wood to chew.
We ship same-day through Delta Airlines for $250, weather permitting. As a convenience, we also offer DNA testing for $40 to determine the bird’s gender.
How does it work? To keep your new family member healthy and safe during its travel, we include food, water, and an extra bag of food attached in case of delay. All pets are kept in a temperature-controlled section. Delta Airlines has safety protocols to make sure your pet arrives in the same condition it left us.
