You no longer need a Federal permit to have them. Prior to this, some States also banned ownership of all birds on the Federal endangered list. This mean, without a Federal permit, these birds were still unavailable within some States to own. Now, since they have been delisted, from their endangered status, they can be bought and shipped, by anyone.
Four times larger than a Sun Conure and even more playful, these overly social birds are known for being one of the best birds to own.
